US Army kills ISIS terrorist Bilal al-Sudani, kills him by entering Somalia in bin Laden style

The US military has killed Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist Bilal al-Sudani along with about 10 of his companions in northern Somalia. Reuters gave this information citing US officials. The American army killed Bilal al-Sudani in the same manner as the US army killed the most wanted terrorist Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Pakistan in 2011.
ISIS was an important financial facilitator
According to US officials, Bilal al-Sudani was making a big plan to expand ISIS across Africa and carry out other activities. The US military operation on Wednesday targeted Bilal al-Sudani inside a mountain cave complex. Bilal was a major financial facilitator for the Global Terrorist Organization (ISIS).
The mission was prepared after months of planning
In a statement, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said, “This operation makes the United States and its allies more secure, and it demonstrates our unwavering commitment to protecting Americans from the threat of terrorism at home and abroad. ” Lloyd told that this mission was prepared after months of planning. President Joe Biden was informed about this mission only last week. Biden gave final approval for the operation this week following a recommendation from Austin and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Army Gen.
Was on the radar of American intelligence officers for years
Austin said al-Sudani has been on the radar of US intelligence officials for years. He played a key role in funding ISIS’s operations in Africa as well as the ISIS-K terrorist branch operating in Afghanistan. The US Treasury Department alleged last year that al-Sudani worked closely with another IS operative, Abdellah Hussein Abadigga, who recruited youths in South Africa and sent them to weapons training camps.
