Pakistan: ‘Awam will not forgive you…’, Imran Khan furious over not getting permission for rally in Lahore, army of supporters gathered at home

Imran Khan Pakistan News: Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan got agitated over not getting permission for the rally in Lahore. On Wednesday, Imran lashed out at the ruling party and its opponents. Imran said that the situation in the country has become very bad. He said that I am afraid of my murder.
Former PM said – these people have gone ahead of martial law
Imran Khan said, “We have a big challenge in front of us. I also tell the Supreme Court not to do anything in such a time that our rule of law is weak. The people of Pakistan will not forgive these (Pakistani leadership). Our Women are being oppressed.” On the arrest of his supporters, Imran said, “This is the biggest attack on freedom in the country. These people have gone beyond martial law, their own people are being oppressed. Freedom is being taken away continuously.” During this, even on the possibility of his arrest, Imran criticized Shahbaz Sharif’s government.
Protests, rallies banned
On one hand Imran’s speech was going on, while on the other hand the Punjab Home Department has banned all kinds of protests and rallies in Lahore on Wednesday for seven days. Section 144 has been implemented in the city. The “overall security situation” has been cited in view of terrorism and its associated threats behind the order. But, Imran’s supporters say that all this has been done fearing the PTI rally.
Imran supporters are being arrested
Imran’s supporters have also been arrested by the administration in violation of section 144. According to the report of Pakistani newspaper The Dawn, till Wednesday evening many PTI workers have been arrested for violating section 144. Many supporters were detained by the police on the Mall Road and taken in vehicles from there to some other place.
Supporters gather at Imran’s residence
On the other hand, to avoid arrest, Imran Khan has gathered his supporters outside Zaman Park, his residence in Lahore. Four roads lead to Zaman and his supporters with sticks are present on all four of them. Supporters also include women. Food and water are being provided to these people there.
