The Defense Ministry said in a statement that a drone attack targeted a military site belonging to the country’s Defense Ministry in the central city of Isfahan on Saturday (January 28).

The Iranian defense system also claimed to have shot down the drone. In the statement of the Ministry of Defense, it has been said that it was an unsuccessful attack and no one was killed in it and only minor damage was done to the roof of the workshop.

The statement from Iran said that the attack did not hinder the operation of the military facility nor did it damage its equipment. Iran’s Defense Ministry says its Ammunition Production Facility in Isfahan was targeted by three small drones (MAVs), one of which was shot down by air defense systems and two others. It also exploded after getting stuck in the air defense system.
