Indonesia Earthquake: An earthquake of 6.3 magnitude has occurred in Tobele, Indonesia, after which a tsunami warning has been issued in the state.
Indonesia Earthquake: After Syria-Turkey-China, now earthquake tremors have been felt in Tobele, Indonesia. The intensity of this earthquake was 6.3 magnitude. The European Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC) reported that a magnitude 6.3 earthquake occurred north of Halmahera Island in Indonesia on Friday (24 February). The depth of this earthquake was 100 km.
On Thursday (February 23), an earthquake of magnitude 7.3 occurred in China’s Uyghar province and 6.8 in eastern Tajikistan. However, there is no news of loss of life or property even after the tremors of such high intensity in both the countries. According to the USGS, the area where the earthquake occurred in Tajikistan is surrounded by the huge Pamir mountain peaks, in such a situation, landslides can occur due to earthquake, but there will not be much loss of life and property because there is little to no damage.
