Greta Thunberg detained by German police: Climate activist was protesting against coal mine

Climate activist and people’s opposition is increasing here to save the village of Luetzerth in Germany. Hundreds of policemen have been deployed to remove the protesters. On Tuesday, Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg also reached here to support the people, where German police took her into custody.

According to media reports, Thunberg protested with dozens of people near the state government building in Germany’s western city of Cologne and Düsseldorf. Actually, way is being made for the expansion of the coal mine and for this it is being planned to destroy the village of Luetzerath in Germany.
