Air Asia Flight Bird-Hit Incident: An emergency landing of an Air Asia airline flight from Bhubaneswar in Odisha to Pune has been made. The aircraft has been brought back and landed in Bhubaneswar. It is being told that a bird collided with the plane after take off. After which the plane was landed in Bhubaneswar. All passengers are being told safe.
The aircraft has been landed at ‘Biju Patnaik International Airport’ in Bhubaneswar. According to news agency ANI, airport officials have told that any possible damage to the aircraft is being assessed.

At the same time, information about the incident has been given by issuing a statement on behalf of Air Asia airline. It said that after the bird hit, the aircraft was brought back to Bhubaneswar for a detailed examination. The company said, “We are serving passengers and taking steps to minimize the impact of this incident on other scheduled flights.”
Bird collided with Indigo plane even four days ago
Let us tell you that incidents of birds hitting planes are often seen. Recently, on February 26, a bird collided with an IndiGo airline plane going from Surat in Gujarat to Delhi just after take-off, after which the plane was diverted and landed in Ahmedabad. All the passengers were also taken out safely.
Due to these reasons, emergency landing happened recently.
On February 24, a flight ‘6E 2407’ of IndiGo was landed in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh due to medical emergency. The flight had taken off from Cochin to Delhi, but an emergency landing was made after a passenger’s health deteriorated. After this, the passenger was immediately taken to a hospital nearest to the airport in Bhopal.
On the other hand, on February 24, a major accident was averted with an Air India Express flight from Calicut to Dammam when its tail hit the ground during take-off. After this the aircraft was immediately diverted to Thiruvananthapuram. There were more than 150 passengers in the plane. Everyone was taken out safely.
