
1 crore cash, more than 2 kg gold and gold jewellery, know what ED got from Lalu family’s hideouts?

Patna. After the action of ED, the difficulties of Lalu Yadav and his family members are increasing. On Friday, ED raided 24 places in Patna, Ranchi, Delhi, Mumbai. During this, raids were conducted at the house where Tejashwi Yadav lives in Delhi’s NCR and at other places as well. Assets worth crores have been mentioned in the statement issued by ED.
In the Land for Job case, the ED raided 24 places across the country on Friday morning at Lalu Yadav and his family members. Raids were also conducted in the house where former RJD MLA Abu Dojan lives in Patna and Tejashwi Yadav in Delhi. After the raid, detailed information was given by the ED by issuing a press release. ED has informed that they were earlier given inputs by their sources on the basis of which action has been taken.
During the raid, one crore rupees in cash, nineteen hundred US dollars, 540 grams of gold, one and a half kg gold ornaments worth Rs 1 crore 25 lakh and many important documents of the property have been recovered. 4 plots were bought for Rs 7.5 lakh. The plots were sold for Rs 3.5 crore. The ED also said that during the search, an income of about Rs 600 crore has been detected, which is in the form of immovable property worth Rs 350 crore. Along with this, transactions worth 250 crores have also been done through different benamidars.
After the raid, it was told by the ED that the investigation so far has revealed that the Lalu family has done illegal land transactions in and around Patna. All these land transactions have been done in the land for job case. The value of these lands is around Rs 200 crores as on today, and it was also informed that the bungalow in Delhi’s New Friends Colony is in the name of M/s AB Exporters Pvt Ltd, which is used by Tejashwi Yadav as his home. Its market rate is Rs 150 crores whereas it was bought for only Rs 4 lakhs.
